Overview

Keel is a productivity app with an AI coach. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's handled.

Data Storage

All your personal data — goals, tasks, reflections, and chat history — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your data. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.

AI Coach

When you use the AI coach, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This includes:

• The message you type
• Your profile information (name, role, energy patterns) to personalize responses
• Your current goals and tasks for context

Anthropic processes this data to generate responses. Anthropic's data retention and privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We do not store your conversations on any server we control.

What We Don't Collect

• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No contacts or photos
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Anthropic's Claude API for the AI coach. No other third-party services receive your data.

Children's Privacy

Keel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
